It is a 100% complete scam. You should NEVER have to pay to be a model or an actor. They give you fake lessons putting hopes into your head and it is fake. I took a workshop at a theatre festival and the guy is a professional manager and agent and he told us that he only person you will have to pay is your agent or manager and you only pay them IF you get a job. They get a percentage of what you are paid, but you never have to pay for an audition or to have them as your agent. Trust me now do not listen to JRP they are a scam and my best friend was almost scammed by them.
