Can I boil water for about 15 mins and let it cool for baby bottles?

I have ran out of botteled water and I don't want to use tap water. Can I just boil water for about 15 mins and that get out all the impurities and stuff. Im gonna let it cool and pour it in a milk jug that i've ran through the dishwasher.
