Will my addition to my tattoo blur?

i have a couple tattoos, and i love them. but my most recent gave me some trouble. i have los angeles on my hip, and i was going to make it into a mini-dia de los muertos-piece. the problem is that the ink on the LA bleed slightly and faded. i want to get a DDLM skull, but i'm afraid that it'll bleed again. the skulls have very small details, should i risk it to have my piece? if it doesn't bleed, it'll be beautiful. if it does, it'll be a mess.
