Go Ask Alice (book) vs Alice in wonderland?

Okay, I just finished reading the book Go Ask Alice an anonymous book about a girl who becomes drug addicted. It is a true story and I was wondering if it has anything to do with Alice in wonderland. Go Ask Alice was written in 1970 so maybe Alice in Wonderland was inspired by it or something. Obviously we all know Alice in Wonderland was basicly all about drugs. ex- the catterpillar smoking a bong,pills that make you get big or little, and stuff like that all through the movie. Dont tell the kiddies! I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about it. Thanks!
