Sounds to me as if you have either fluid in your ear or as you are congested you have some fluid at the base of the ear. I would recommend that you take benadryl this will help dry up the fluid and make your ears feel a bit better. If you are having ear pain to i would suggest that you take ibuprofen (400mg-600mg) every 6-8 hours, as you may have some inflammation to. Another thing i would like to add is if you yawn this will also unblock your ears really good, i picked that tip up from a stewardess on my journey's.

ok so my question is confusing but the situation is complicated. Both of my parents drink to much it has been progressing over the years and i feel is a time bomb. I have a brother that is a recent veteran and sister in law living with them along with my younger sister. My brother and wife are like myself and want to help but know you can't change them . I have a fever that stays between 100 - 103 consistently for the past 4 days. On sunday my temperature was 103.5. I have been taking advil, ibuprofin, and tylenol which brought it down to around 100 -101 but no lower. I have a constant head ache which hurts so bad i could cry. I am also constantly coughing which makes my temples pound everytime. This has been going on since sunday, it is now thursday. i don't want to waste time going and sitting at the doctors all day if I will get better on my own and also since there is no cure for a common cold. I have been taking vicks, robitussin, dm, halls and chicken soup and nothng seems to be working!!! HELP!

Month-long trip to Europe...some questions and advice?

My husband and I are wanting to take a month-long trip to Europe next month after I graduate. Going to Los Angeles this weekend; ideas for things to do?

Lucky you! I just bought a type of guide book for the greater Los Angeles area. Those are all a lot of great places to check out but unfortunately if you're only going to be there the weekend, then you won't be able to check out all of those things because you lose track of time wherever you are because everything is so magnificent. Pick the things you really want to do and the sites you really want to see. And as for 'the ghetto' I think you mean like Compton, East LA, ect. I don't suggest you visit those places if you're coming for a weekend. It's a tad more dangerous to be in those areas, especially at night so I wouldn't recommend it unless you know where you're going. And if they're selling true religions, they're probably knock-offs or something is wrong with the jeans. In all honesty, you shouldn't even be spending $100 on jeans because they're just jeans, and eventually you'll just wear and tear them and then outgrow them.

Being in the tobacco retail business...I definatly see the bigger picture. April 1st is going to be the beginning of a very hard fall for many. First of all, those who don't want to quit wont. They will continue to spend for their addiction and cut the additional cost from some other place in their lives. Furthermore, if everyone did quit...where would the goverment get their money to fund these "great" programs? They already don't have enough money to fund the SCHIP bill...even with the added taxes on tobacco. Where do you think that will come from? That's right...our pockets! Regardless of my profession, I am sick of working hard and having my money spent to take care of all the people who are too lazy to do it themselves. Get a job like the rest of us and let the "aid programs" be used like they were intended...to aid when you are down and out, not live on all of your life.

Please HELP!!! Beagle eye problem?

My dog's iris and pupil in one eye have gone completely gray, I'm guessing from blindness caused by some kind of infection. It's also half rolled back into her head, and mostly you can see the white part. My vet had never seen this before, and he gave eyedrops and antibiotics for her, and it was getting better. Then it spread to the other eye, and he was dumbfounded. This eye, however, still maintained its color, so he told us to put the eydrops in both eyes and to bring her back in a week. Has anyone ever seen this before? I'll take anything related, I don't care, I just want my dog to be able to see when (hopefully) this is over. Thanks in advance.

Hmmm...not bad. You have three decent QBs who you should switch out every week depending on their matchups. Or you could package a couple of them in a trade. Running backs are great except for Sammy Morris. The Patriots have like 4 different backs who will get equal amount of playing time. Forte and MJD might do enough to make up for him, but you might want to trade some of your many receivers for another RB. Plus Jones-Drew or Forte could go down and you don't have any backups. As for your receivers, you have great depth so I would watch the matchups and the trends and start whoever seems to be in the best situation accordingly.

Cannot remove spark plug from 2004 Chrysler Town Country 3.8l V6 - crossthreaded?

80,000 miles trying to change plugs. All is well except for one. The plugs itself broke loose and will come out halfway but then gets frozen solid. I can retighten, then loosen, retighten, then loosen almost effortlessly, but once I hit that midway point.. it will no longer budge. I bought this van used and I suspect that the plugs have never been changed before. The other plugs that I removed didnt look too bad but wanted to change them anyway. I suspect that it may have been crossthreaded. I tried running the van to make it hot then attempted to remove plug again. No luck. I am tried several times even with oil.. results are all the same. The other day i was sitting in the kitchen and a burner on the stove was turned on but there was no flame. I sat in the kitchen for 30 minutes with the burner on but with no flame until finally my sister came in and said that it smelled really bad. I couldn't smell it because my nose was congested. My question is was the burner leaking carbon monoxide or was it leaking natural gas? and would sitting next to it for 30 minutes breathing it in cause any damage to my brain in any way?

My freshwater singray had burned himself on a aquatic heater, I think he has an infection, what do I do? Help?

I have a young freshwater stingray. In his tank I have his aquatic heater in a gl vase. The breeder we bought him from warned us about that he could eaisly burn himself if the heater is not covered, so we covered it. But, he managed to knock it over and burnt one of his eyes. The eye I think partially came off or something. It was there just burnt, and then it turned redish and is gone. The eye at leat and the socket is open. Where it was burnt around the eye it looks swollen and what appers to be puss or some kind of infection. His other eye looks swollen and he won't eat. He is breathing a bit heavyer too I think. My roommate had a cat like this... she was so cute and loved when anyone pet her. She would then roll over on her back, and logically I umed she wanted me to rub her belly. No, it was just a ploy to attack my hand!! Haha. I think she did it on purpose to get her kicks. My black cat will usually let me pet her on the belly, but if she is in a bad mood she will kick me with her back legs to let me know I should stop. My other two love attention and usually don't object to being pet on their bellies. I read somewhere that when cats fight, their belly is the most vulnerable spot and they try to protect it, so that's probably why some cats are skittish about it.

My step-sister got married 2 years ago and they put about $7,000 into her wedding and now I can't even get my dad to buy me a lousy $250 wedding dress. My step-mom was talking to a good friend of mine(idiot) and told her that "they don't have the money to pay for a wedding" Of course she came back and told me. But what I don't get is my dad doesn't have the money to pay for my wedding but he can go out and spend $300 a month of medicine for a dog and just last week they went out and bought a $200 puppy. I'm not trying to be bratty but do you not think its fair that they won't even buy me a wedding gown?!?! I am his only biological daughter. Idk I just don't think they are fair to me I have worked since I was 14, I alway had to buy my own stuff and I was paying rent at age 16 while my step-sister, her husband, and son lived there free. I know there is that responsibility level but don't you think it is a bit much?! I dropped out in the tenth grade when I was in all honors cles because they never cared that I was ranked 2nd in my cl or that I won 1st or 2nd place in science fair and FFA events. But when I had money they were my best friend. As of right now they owe me $700 from my savings bonds which I cashed to pay their bills for them when I was 16. The only time they call me is when they want something, I had to call them on my birthday. My dad won't even talk to me about paying for the wedding...he told me that I should rent my wedding dress...well jeezzz DAD why can't you spend $250 on a dress you spent $600 on a dress for your step-daughter. Would it be wrong if I told him I didn't even want him to walk me down the aisle. I don't even know if I want him at wedding...I feel like he just doesnt even care about me anymore. And it breaks my heart so much because before my stepmom I was always a daddy's girl....I can't even call him my dad anymore because my stepmom yells at me for being selfish...she says hes not just your father he has stepchildren too. What's your opinion?

Whenever I want to do better Is when I'm in the greatest of moods. That Includes when I'm just happy (sober), had a conversation with an inspirational friend about an inspirational subject relevant to complete repentness (that being quittting alcohol, drugs & cigarettes), or just being drunk, or high. It's all the same. I throw away my drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes-JUST to go back and do it all over again. I have countless nights of digging through the trash to find yesterdays cigarettes; crumpled and soacked with perfume not caring; and smoking them. I do have problems. All the time I get on my knees praying to God to forgive me and "I'm serious this time, please help me, Lord." It's always the same; going back to the store picking up cigarette s and 'sterilizing them with a flame' -smoking them. I feel I'll quit someday, but maybe it's just me. What am I to do, guys? I know I'm no grammer literate excuse me for the poor writing- I've tried my best to make it as best articulate as I can. Hopefully you can still understand what my point is. That is that I need help please someone send me something motivational. I know I can't hear God directly, but I fear for my soul God is not to happy with what I'm doing by not trying to hard or not giving to much care into trying better. My grandmother is making my bat shat crazy over wedding details!!! HELP !?

We are 3 weeks off of our wedding date. At the moment I am finalizing my florist (down to 2) I know it's close before I procrastinated a lot on that part. My venue provides these hideous cheap centerpieces with fake flower toppers. Well actually the center piece stand itself is gorgeous; the flwoers on top howover are disguting. But for monies sake I was acutally going to cut back in that area and use the ugly centerpieces toppers rather then buying real flowers. My grandmother very generously insisted that I pick centerpieces that I liked and that she would pay for them. Well now we are down to the final 2 florists as I've mentioned and she is making me NUTS! I am paying for all of the bouquets, corsages, ect. She is paying for just the centerpieces. The two places we are looking at have a $10 difference in price for the centerpieces and there are only 13 of them. So a difference after taxes of about $150. The total bills however are different by about $600. The more expensive centerpieces are from the more expensive florist. Both of the florists are extrememly experienced. One previously worked for a prestigious hotel in our are, the other has worked in then purchased the shop she runs for about 15 years now. I feel that since the majority of cost difference is affecting what I am paying for I should make the decision. My granmother had worked for the company of the more expensive florist before the now owner was even around, when the original owner had it. This is the florist she wants me to choose. Basically her only reasoning is that when the woman called her she was very specifc as to what quantiity of what specific flower we are getting in each item for the price. Which is a very nice detial however the cheaper florist who I prefer once asked for more detailed info gladely gave it to us. And the number of flowers for the price difference is almost nothing. Yet for some reason even though the cost almost solely affects me; she thinks that she gets to make the decision. And if she did go with my choice; I'd be saving her $150. I love my grandmother and she has been very generous to pay for a very large portion of our wedding (something she wanted to do for me for ym whole life); but in these last few weeks she is trying to impose all these changes on things we've already either purchased or decided upon. I can't take it any more. Why would she be like this? She's been included for much of the planning so she is certianly not left out. It's just that she offered to pay a certain amount and I told her thank you and that I wouldn't go over budget but she had to promise to just let me get/do things how I wanted them. And now that much of what we've done is not to her liking she is being a tremendous pain in my Azz!

Rat Terrier Breeding...?

I am expecting a litter on July 10, 2007. I have done a lot of research and I have been getting mixed answers, about the use of an extra heat source for the pups. I have heard that you do not need an extra heat source, and I have heard that it is a must or the pups will die. I would like to get more opinions. My house is approx. 65-75 degrees, the pups will be in a kiddie pool (whelping box), there will be plenty of blankets and towels in the pool for them. Any answers will be appreciated.

Lots of variations in restaurant refrito style beans...I don't like those soupy ones either...to have a pool of beans beside the rice is always disappointing. Good frijoles, or "re-fried beans", should be thick enuf not to spread or pool up on a plate, and should have actual BEANS visible...still softer than an equivalent serving of mashed potatoes, but not so thinned out they turn into a puddle. The home-cooked recipe requires half of the cooked beans to be mashed up and mixed in with the whole cooked beans...and the resulting mixture "re-fried" in a big iron skillet with a little oil. When you buy the canned variety, they seem quite stiff out of the can - but heated up, they get creamy--a dollop of salsa, a sprinkle of cheese and you've got something substantial on the plate. I think your restaurant may be cutting corners by thinning the dish and saving on amount of virtual beans.

How close are we to WWIII?

It seems everyday there are more and more conflicts. The US alone is currently occupying multiple countries including Afghanistan, Iraq, and now it looks like we have our sites set on Libya. I'm not too well informed so am unsure how militarily active other countries are at the moment, though I would error on the side of more aggressive. Combined with many countries already at war with neighboring enemies and with themselves, it seems things are quickly reaching a tipping point. In your opinion is WWIII inevitable? If so, are we likely to see it within the next 20 years?

How can I make a cd for my patients?

I have a microphone & cd/dvd burner. I want to record myself reading a relaxation exercise so I can give cds of it to my surgical patients. WTF! '01 Isuzu Rodeo Making Dragging Noise Underneath?

This past Saturday night I was driving abt 40 mph and all of a sudden there was a huge clunking noise on the penger side of the vehicle. I immediately thought I hit something metal and it was caught in the wheel well or something. I pulled over and didn't see anything. I eased back on the road and it started again. It sounded like something had come loose and was caught. The faster I drove the louder it got, then it stopped. It stopped but you could still hear what sounded like a dragging noise under the truck. Yesterday, I drove it 50 miles out of town and it was fine except for the dragging. On my way back home, the loud clunking noise started again. Something is banging against the undercarriage but when I look under the truck I don't see anything. What is this banging and dragging noise???? The truck drives fine. No indicator lights. Help!

Months of bleeding, and then discharge?

Hello, I first started the depo shot in july of 2008. I had bled non stop so my docs put me on the pill Nov. of 2008 to regulate my period. I used the pill correctly all the way until Feb 2009. At the beginnig of Feb I stopped using the pill because it always made me nausiated. In May of 2009 they put me on the patch. If you've ever worn the patch, hopefully you can relate. Well, the patch was fine except it left patches (literally) all over your body. I still have the dark square imprints all over my hips, and . It also sometimes left Scabs on me. Any who, In November of 2009 i stopped using the patch. I couldnt stand to see my body like that. Here it is May 2010, and I have bled every day since November of 09. I finally stopped bleeding about 10 days ago. about 3 days ago i started noticing very light pinkish discharge. Some timesi it would be light brownish. Well i do have a fiance, and we have both been tested. Being that we were so happy i wasnt bleeding anymore, we've been having unprotected almost everyday. Could I be pregnant? Gallbladder pain but negative test results?

I had an ultrasound that showed no gall stones and a HIDA scan that showed 86% which is good. The doctor still wants to take out my gallbladder...I am having severe backpain,pain under my right ribs but not severe, it only hurts after I eat. I have acid reflux real bad and loss of appitite,the need to go to the bathroom after I eat. The pain almost wraps around my right side into my right shoulder blade. I just don't know if I should go through with the surgery.....is it my gallbladder that is causing me this pain!??
